The Shire of Murrindindi is nestled in North East Victoria, Australia.  The picturesque shire is punctuated with mountains and valleys, a perfect environment for the production of cherries, grapes / wines, honey, olives, animal farming and much more.  The vista’s and animals capture the imagination and creativity of our many resident artists who use these influences in their ceramic, paint, photography, metal and wood working mediums.

It’s not only the locals that fall in love with our area.  Tourism is well catered for in all seasons with Lakes, Snowfields, tours, fine foods, wines and accommodation.   Explore the area by bike using the Great Victorian Rail Trail network.  World class events such as the  Yea Arts Carnival, Open Garden Weekends, the Alexandra Truck Rod & Ute Show (featuring a wonderful display from the Quilting Association) host tens of thousands of visitors to the region a year.

If you are looking to visit our lovely area plan your trip with the help of a local Visitor Information Centre in Alexandra, Yea, Eildon or Marysville or Goulburn River Valley Tourism
